Another Sneak Peek
I've been wanting to share with all of you some of the progress I've made at our new place. Here is a picture of the view from our dining room into our living room. I started the gallery wall and so far I'm thrilled with the way it has turned out. I can't wait to add more prints and oil paintings.
I promise to show more very soon.

Holiday Table settings
House Beautiful sent the white PB place setting seen in all of the images to 15 different taste makers. Above you can find my favorite settings. I love the versatility of white china, I use my set from Crate and Barrel everyday including during the holidays. Do you have a favorite set of china? Which is your favorite setting?

A Saturday Brunch and "The Church"
I hope you had a fantastic weekend! Saturday was a very busy day for us, we got to visit the church and a couple of locations for the reception. Did I mentioned how much I love this church? I know I have a full year to plan the wedding, but I just want to have the most important aspects of the wedding taken care of as soon as possible so I don't end up feeling overwhelmed later on. We had the most fabulous brunch at Greene in The Grove a.k.a Coconut Grove. After brunch we visited The Barnacle a beautiful home on the water but my heart was not in it so we're moving on. I really wanted to love the location because it's only 5 minutes from the church but I just knew it wasn't the place for us.
P.S. I promise to stop posting about wedding plans for the rest of the week and post more design post instead.

Where it all took place!!!
I just wanted to share more pictures with all of you of our little stay at The Breakers. This place is truly unbelievable, if you ever find yourself in South Florida make sure to visit. I hope you're enjoying the ballrooms.
I will post more pictures tomorrow and on Friday I will share my homemade kitchen curtains. I can't wait to hear what you'll think.
P.S I'm sorry I haven't stopped by your page and left a comment lately, I've been extremely busy and barely have time to post. I promise to visit by the end of the week.
By the way we got the church we wanted today, and our wedding date was set for 10.09.2010. I'm so excited! Thank you for all of your sweet comments.

We're Engaged!!
Sorry I've been M.I.A but I have a great excuse! Bobby proposed to me over the weekend and I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out! We had the most perfect fall weekend in South Florida.
We had the most perfect early dinner at the seafood bar and I can't wait to show you the view from our table. He waited after dinner to propose, which I'm glad he did because it was more romantic. He did get on one knee while I was sitting on the seawall (like you can see on the picture above) when he popped the question. Of course I said YES but not without first saying Holy S**t when I saw the ring, lol! I noticed he was acting strange throughout dinner but I really didn't see it coming at all. It was beautiful!
Here is the spot where he proposed, on the northern tip of the resort.
(this picture of me was taken before he proposed)

Please Home Goods
(Not my living room, image via Home Goods blog)
I need a pair of this orange lamp for my living room. I've been scouting Home Goods for it and so far I haven't had any luck. I can't stop thinking about this lamp. I need major help from all of you my friends. Please, let me know if you know of any other place where I can find a similar pair of lamps.
P.S. I'll be finishing my secret project over the weekend, I can't wait to share it with all of you.

Seeing Gray
It's no secret I love the color gray. Lately, I've chosen to use it on a project I can't wait to share with you and by the way it doesn't require painting the walls. Would you like to guess what the project is going to be?
Follow the clue: It will be in the living room.
I can't wait to read your comments and see if you guess correctly.

My name is Yansy and I have a confession
I have a huge addiction to throw pillows, perhaps is as bad as my addiction to fabulous shoes. Well, lately it seems it has become a problem since we moved into a smaller home, all the crap I used to hide from Bobby its still in boxes and boy has he noticed. What's a girl to do? I love my pillows and I have a hard time keeping my little addiction in check. What do I do with all of the throw pillows I no longer have any use for? I really don't want to get rid of them because it makes me happy to know they're in a closet just waiting for me to use them again. Please, help me before Bobby sends me to throw pillow anonymous.

Chevron-My favorite pattern!
I can't seem to be able to get this pattern out of my head. I have something in mind where I plan to use the chevron pattern in our new home. I dare you to guess where I'm using it, and it will include painting except I won't be painting a piece of furniture or my walls. So, would you like to guess?
Have a wonderful weekend!
