This dining room designed by Thom Filicia is one of my favorite jobs he has ever executed. From the lighting to the spectacular wall size photo of the horses. The man is a genius and this dining room is a great example of his ability as a designer.
I know, I continue to be M.I.A but I appreciated having all of my readers support. I have been working non stop which has kept me away from blogging . Well enough about me, let's focus on design. This year House Beautiful made a great choice to have the amazingly talented Jeff Lewis to design the 2010 House Beautiful Kitchen of the year. Let's start with the California modern concept and open design. I'm in love with the long open shelves, minimalist cabinets and beautiful wood floors.
The dining room table designed by Jeff Soderbergh made from wood salvaged from the old Vanderbilt polo barn. How amazing is that?
The open wine rack is a genius idea!
The Licht im Raum chandelier is not my favorite part of the room however I can appreciate the design the concept behind it. I love succulents and the used in this table setting is perfection. For more information visit HouseBeautiful.com
To say I'm looking forward to this weekend will be an understatement. As you can all imagine due to my lack of posting life has been a bit crazy lately. I'm looking forward to spending my weekend in one of Florida's most beautiful beaches with my family. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and take some time to enjoy your summer.

The main reason I love Etsy is the accessibility it provides for us design enthusiast to items you're unlikely to find at a store. I came across Etsy Seller Jolie Marche while researching burlap pillows. How fantastic are these pillows? I love the vintage feel, it reminds me of something Joni would use in her designs. I can't wait to use a few of these amazing pillows in one of my own interiors.

Have a wonderful Weekend full of treasure hunting!!
When you think of Diane Von Furstenberg you think of her timeless wrap dresses which has been a staple in every modern woman's closet since the 70's. Her home in Connecticut represents her elegant yet eclectic taste. Take a look around and enjoy a tour of her sophisticated country home.

Could this women be any more elegant and beautiful? Age is nothing but a number!!!
Happy Thursday!!!!
I hope you had a fabulous Mother's Day weekend!!! I just wanted to share with you this fabulous images and the most absolute chevron rug. Hoping for some good news tomorrow!!
We all know I'm one to love colors in my interiors however today I felt like going monochromatic. I really need to make room in our house for a neutral space just for moi. I guess I'm really in the mood for some calmness specially since I didn't accomplish much at the doctor's yesterday and now I have to wait until Tuesday's for the results. I hope you'll have a wonderful weekend and will be spending your Mother's Day with your love ones. I plan to spend my weekend working on a million projects I still have to catch up with specially since I need to keep myself occupied and in a zen state of mind.

I came across this image via Habitually Chic and I can't seem to get it out of my head. The settee is pure perfection!!!! I must get my hands on some ikat fabric for a chair project I'm working on.
I have a special room in my heart for my foo dogs however I wonder if they are overrated. They have appeared in magazines everywhere from the pages of our beloved Domino to our recent issue of Lonny. Do you feel the trend of displaying your foo dogs in your home is very circa 2006 or do you think they are timeless? Enjoy a few of my favorite images of foo dogs!!!!

These images of painted bentwood chairs are really not helping my obsession. I have yet to find a pair of my own. I know I will, I just hope is soon!!! Thanks for putting up with my ranting, I just can't vent to Bobby about it anymore. Thanks for the support and let me confess once and for all, I'm a chair addict, a pack rat. How about you? Is there something your obsessed with? I would love to know. The Interior Design anonymous group is officially open for calls!!!!

It's almost Friday which only means more chair hunting. Yay!!!!
There latest issue is by far my favorite, mainly because of this Hollywood Regency designed condo. This is a rental ladies and gents! Can you believe it? This amazing rental is home to up and coming designer Melissa Warner of Massucco Warner Miller. To read more on Melissa's design philosophy go here.

I hope this stunning images brought some sunshine and inspiration to your Wednesday.
