I know, I continue to be M.I.A but I appreciated having all of my readers support. I have been working non stop which has kept me away from blogging . Well enough about me, let's focus on design. This year House Beautiful made a great choice to have the amazingly talented Jeff Lewis to design the 2010 House Beautiful Kitchen of the year. Let's start with the California modern concept and open design. I'm in love with the long open shelves, minimalist cabinets and beautiful wood floors.
The dining room table designed by Jeff Soderbergh made from wood salvaged from the old Vanderbilt polo barn. How amazing is that?
The open wine rack is a genius idea!
The Licht im Raum chandelier is not my favorite part of the room however I can appreciate the design the concept behind it. I love succulents and the used in this table setting is perfection. For more information visit HouseBeautiful.com
What do you think of this kitchen? Do you preferred Ina Garten's traditional kitchen from last year? Please do tell. I love to hear your thoughts.
