A Hint to Where I'll be Spending my Weekend!
Can this vanity be any more perfect? I'm in love with the shell sink, glass tile wall, shell sconces and the star of the hour the shell mirror. Can you guess where I will be spending my weekend and all of next week? I look forward to seeing if you guys are able to guess correctly.
Have a wonderful weekend and I'll be back with plenty of pics from my trip.

Another Kitchen Obsession
Where to begin? Lets start by drooling over the fact that this is a white kitchen, which we all know I LOVE. This is by far the most ideally shaped kitchen I've ever seen. The white expose brick wall is B-A-N-A-N-A-S as is the row of windows at the far end of the kitchen, my favorite feature of the space. This kitchen has it all, from the island, to the floors and we definitely need to acknowledge the spectacular pendant lamp. This was a kitchen of the month on House Beautiful, you can find more info on their website.
Even if you don't love white kitchens as much as I do, I hope you can appreciate the architectural details in the space.

An Oldie but a Goodie!!!
This dining room designed by Thom Filicia is one of my favorite jobs he has ever executed. From the lighting to the spectacular wall size photo of the horses. The man is a genius and this dining room is a great example of his ability as a designer.
A few words from the man himself in regards to this dining room:
"You can push the envelope in a dining room — you want it to be an experience, something exciting and sexy. The way the photo is printed on glass makes the colors glow. It's beautiful and romantic and earthy. I designed the dining table — the top is reclaimed wood, and the base is metal. To me, it's like a classic reinvented. I love a round dining table, where you're all looking at each other. It's more intimate, and the conversation is better. You know, if there's one thing missing from most modern apartments, it's a really great dining space. "
I agree with him in regards to the lack of a proper dining room space in most modern apartments. How about you?
