My name is Yansy and I have a confession

I have a huge addiction to throw pillows, perhaps is as bad as my addiction to fabulous shoes. Well, lately it seems it has become a problem since we moved into a smaller home, all the crap I used to hide from Bobby its still in boxes and boy has he noticed. What's a girl to do? I love my pillows and I have a hard time keeping my little addiction in check. What do I do with all of the throw pillows I no longer have any use for? I really don't want to get rid of them because it makes me happy to know they're in a closet just waiting for me to use them again. Please, help me before Bobby sends me to throw pillow anonymous.

Hi! I'm new to your blog and love it already! As far as the pillow situation. . . it's a tough call. I know first hand it's difficult moving into a smaller home and all of a sudden it appears as if you have more stuff than you did before! Pillows can be hard to part with too. . .

I know the feeling!

Atm I have double the amount of cushions in my house as I have just let out a property I have, unfurnished. So now I have all the furniture and accessories from that house.
The furniture is just stored in the garage for now, but I must have about 15 cushions in my spare bedroom!
My fiance keeps asking me what I'm doing to do with them...but they are so lovely I dont want to sell them!

So when you think of what to do with your cushions make sure you tell me ok! ha

I love throw pillows too! I think it's a hard thing to store but I would say keep them. I've put some away and thought of getting rid of them myself, but every once in a while I feel the need to change something here and there and then have used some of the pillows that I thought I would not get out again. I think throw pillows are a great way to change things up a bit and add a pop of color or texture without spending a ton of money. So I say keep!! =)

I'd say keep them too. If you have as many as I do, it's good to have zippers on them so you have just the cover. By using your pillows (hopefully with) standard size pillow forms then all you have to do is change out the cover when you want an update. This way you can hide them in a drawer and he might not notice so many :) Men....most don't get the pillow obsession. Woman do!

Have a contest for a "pillow talk" giveaway. We could send you a fabulous idea or photo or just be nice and give a few away here and there. WOW-I thought I was the only one with pillows. (My Mother steals ALL that I don't use)
