Coming Clean!

Tazer aka Gordo
Jade and Tazer the first night we brought Jade home.

To say the last couple of weeks have been rough will be an understatement. Yes, I got engaged and I'm thrilled to be getting married and planning the wedding of my dreams but my happiness has been shadowed with terrible news. Our 8yr old American Bulldog Tazer had to have an emergency surgery last Monday due to a cyst that was found on his paw. At the time the vet didn't know if it was a tumor and we weren't planning on waiting to find out. During his surgery we opted to have him neuter since we were not planning on breeding him. The results came in yesterday and unfortunately they are not the best news. They didn't find anything on the cyst that was on his paw but they did find a tumor on his testicles that was a grade two cancer. As you can imagine we're freaking out. I don't have any babies and my dogs are my life! Tazer is an amazing dog and I couldn't picture our lives with out him. He has to have a second surgery in a couple of weeks for another biopsy. I only wish for him to have a comfortable and happy life and we plan to do whatever it takes to make him feel better. I would like to thank you for letting me vent about my baby boy!

P.S. I'm sorry I didn't get to do the giveaway as I had promised. As you can imagine I'm a mess of emotions right now and I can't seem to remember what 2+2 is anymore. I promise to host the giveaway tomorrow!

P.P.S I went shopping for my wedding dress on Friday with my two amazing sisters and I think I might have found my gown. The dress is a Reem Acra from her 2010 fall collection. I haven't purchased the gown yet because I want my mom to see me wearing it and unfortunately she was not able to make it with us. I have the best time trying on amazing wedding couture and Keidy from Chic Parisien was the biggest sweetheart! I highly recommend her to anyone that plans to purchase their gown in South Florida.

xo,

Yansy

Congratulations on your recent engagement, and so sorry to hear about Tazer. Hopefully, they'll get everything during surgery, and he'll be A-OK.
Best.
