A delightful surprise!

I was super excited this morning after pleasantly finding out that one of my favorite couples, John and Sherry from Young House Love featured my old master bedroom on their blog. I must say, I'm completely overwhelmed by all of the sweet and positive comments, it only makes me miss the house so much more. I can't wait to get settle in our new home and to start decorating the new master bedroom, I have so many ideas, I can hardly contain myself. I promise to post pictures once all of the boxes are completely gone.

Some of the readers had questions in reference to where I purchased some of the items in the room. I promise to do my best and remember as much as possible.

The bedside lamps are from Home Goods (Bobby picked them, so he gets credit for that)

The chair was a gift from my mom. She had bought it at a consignment shop with the hopes of having it reupholster for her master bedroom. After much begging, my lovely mom gave in and I had what I like to call now my new favorite chair. After painting it a high glossy white, I decided I was going to tackle the reupholstering myself which is something I had never done before. It took me 8hrs to reupholster the chair but every minute of it was worth it. It just makes me smile every time I see it.

The fabric on the chairs is from Ikea, I bought 4yrds for $40 and I only used 2yrds on the chair. I plan on using the rest on curtains for our new kitchen window since my new cabinets are white and I love the contrast it makes.

The colors on the wall are Sherwin Williams, I'm looking for my swatches to give you the correct colors. Sorry, just moved and I have no clue where half of my things are.

The leather Turquoise tray was purchased at a store in the Miami Design District that closed. I saw it once on an old issue of Better Homes where they had a website for it. If I find it, I will post the link to the website.

I would like to thank John and Sherry for their continues support and to all of my regular readers as well as the new readers. I feel so bless to be surrounded by such talented and amazing individuals who support my work and this blog.

P.S. I have a long day tomorrow staging a three bedroom house. I hope to post pics by the end of the week.

I just stumbled upon your blog today. I also follow young house love and I saw that bedroom posted, such a small blog world that it was your bedroom! Your blog is great by the way.
