My Favorite Place!

Casa Tua
is by far my favorite restaurant in Miami. The food is absolutely delicious, ask Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston, and Madonna to confirm it. As you'll know, us ladies pay a lot more attention to the decor than anything else. The stunning Casa Tua is chic with a country Italian-style, set in a refurbished 1925 Mediterranean-style house-cum-hotel. It has several dining areas, including an outdoor garden, comfy Ralph Lauren-esque living room, and a communal eat-in kitchen. The upstairs private club is with out a doubt my favorite space, exhibiting white wing-backs, chocolate brown walls and one of a kind art work( I don't own a membership, it happens to cost a small fortune) I'm just lucky to have fabulous friends. I haven't had the privilege of staying at the Hotel but god knows that I'm dying to. Bobby thinks is a "waste of money", since we're only minutes away. I disagree, and that's a battle I will not stop fighting. I'll be honest with you girls. I'm not the type of person that can keep up with a diet for more than two hours. I commend you if you have more will power than I do. I like to eat. I like to enjoy every single bite and a salad doesn't cut it for me, and I always, always have dessert. My secret is that I only eat until I'm satisfied, and I never deprive myself from eating anything that I like. Now, that I basically gave you history class on my lack of dieting, I will proceed to talk about the food. I love, love their Tuna Tartare, their risotto with truffles and asparagus is to die for and you must try the seared lamb chops and beef tenderloins with foie gras. Can you tell I'm a huge foodie? The tiramisu is amazing and the three layer chocolate mousse is another favorite of mine. I won't bored you anymore, just promise me that next time you're in Miami you will try this place. I will warn you, is not the easiest location to find since it doesn't have a sign outside and it will look just like the rest of the Mediterranean mansions on the beach.....and don't tell your husbands of the small fortune dinner is going to cost, once they're there, they will be hooked. I promise not to tell.

The restaurant looks beautiful, and the food sounds even better! I'm with you - I love to eat, so I can never stay on a diet either.

Oh...it's only time for breakfast here, but I am ready to try dinner there! Sounds incredible, and it IS a beautiful spot. The various photos look like they come from different restaurants, I like that, a mixed look.

Hope you get back there soon!

I love how in looking at the pictures, I first thought of a home rather than a restaurant. Sounds delightful and I have no idea why I haven't eaten there before. Now on the list for dinner when I'm in Miami next week. I am a sucker for anything involving truffles.

I spy a zebra mirror in the background of one of the pictures, which I'm certain means I would love this place as well.

What a great restaurant! I especially love the dark wood at the bar contrasted with all the white. Also - thanks for all you comments. I appreciate it.
