Image via AlkemieI know for a fact, I'm not the only one obsessing over black walls. Lets just say that I covet them, and I'm counting the days until I get to do this at our home. As much as us girls understand the importance of the little black dress, I use the same philosophy on the "little black wall". They are the perfect backdrop to any accessory, and you can pretty much pair it with any color. Do you guys agree with my "LBD" philosophy or do you have one of your own? Please, tell. I'm dying to hear your thoughts.

I love it! I have a black wall in my office and pantry - both are painted with chalkboard paint - so it serves double-duty (chic and functional/fun).
These are such chic examples. I love it paired with crisp white, and a pop of color, like the coral or yellow chair. I don't know if I'd be brave enough to do it though!

I don't have the cajones to do it but I always love it when I see them in design mags. I especially love how it looks against great architectural details...makes it modern without being stuffy.

I love the black walls in the first picture. the fabric pillow was on a chair I bought and had recovered. But I am actually liking it in that room!!
