New Master Bedroom Reveal!!!

I finally got the courage to reveal our new master bedroom. The curtains are finally up, the nightstands are finished but that's about it. Yup, the room is not completed and I don't know if it will ever be. For now you get to see the current state of the room. The headboard is our old headboard just draped with fabric from Ikea. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep it or choose a different fabric to cover the headboard with. I'm planning a trip to the fabric store on Saturday hoping to find a different fabric for the headboard. I would love to hear your opinion? Should I keep the fabric from Ikea or replace it with a different fabric? Please feel free to recommend fabrics you think may work in the space.

Stay Tuned! Tomorrow I will post a list of resources of the items we used in the bedroom.

I am loving it! I LOVE the fabric on your headboard (I just recovered mine too!) and the mirror above the bed looks great. I am also really digging your curtains, the sun shines through them beautifully!

I really like what you've done and I like the headboard fabric a lot!

Here's my only suggestion though. I think the curtains are the odd man out here. Maybe you could find a new fabric for curtains and keep the headboard fabric?

Oh fun! I picked a good day to catch up on my blog reading!

I think you should totally recover the headboard!

Can't wait to see if you find any other options this weekend, but I already love the IKEA fabric.

I personally love the fabric on your headboard, it really anchors the room and is a wonderful focal point. It also works with the drapes and the bedding. I also like how high you've hung the breezy drapes, really makes the ceilings look high. Beautiful! Janell
